Role Overview
Vision Street invites aspiring creatives to join their Television Production Department as a Camera Operator Intern. This role offers hands-on experience in capturing high-quality television footage while learning professional framing, composition, and production techniques alongside experienced crews in Maseru, Lesotho.
Duties and Responsibilities
The intern will assist with camera preparation, setup, equipment checks, and pack-down operations. Responsibilities include operating cameras under the direction of the Director or Director of Photography, maintaining appropriate framing and composition, adhering to shot lists and production requirements, and handling lenses, batteries, media cards, and accessories safely.
Requirements
Candidates need a strong passion for cinematography, visual storytelling, and a basic understanding of cameras and photographic principles. Applicants should possess good visual awareness, attention to detail, and the physical ability to work on location while handling production gear. Students, recent graduates, and emerging media practitioners are encouraged to apply.
